About the EFACW

Bryan K. Petersen

Bryan Petersen

Bryan K. Petersen was named President and CEO of EFACW in February 2016. Mr. Petersen overseas the implementation of Washington state law to “assists small and medium-sized businesses…in the financing of export transactions.”

Mr. Petersen brings over 15 years of private sector international banking experience to the position, including a couple of years based in London to work in the European Union. Prior to EFACW, he worked to support foreign exchange and international banking services at Umpqua Bank and Wells Fargo & Co.

Mr. Petersen earned his B.A. from the University of Utah.

Zara Castillo

A native of Manila in the Philippines, Zara continued her education in Washington State and graduated from the Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington. Zara holds a certification in Global Finance Management and Global Marketing Strategies from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Prior to joining EFACW as the Program Manager, Zara’s experience with trade and international affairs included Washington State Department of Commerce and the American Chamber of Commerce in Manila, Philippines.
